The COVID-19 pandemic served as a wake-up call on how unprepared the global community was when dealing with major catastrophes. It gave a stark glimpse into the future on how easily the world could be thrown into disarray as experts anticipate more frequent outbreaks due to our rapidly changing lifestyles and as the effects of global climate change becomes more amplified. We need to take an earnest look at lessons learned from the pandemic not only to prevent future outbreaks but how they can be applied to improve our daily lives.

At Seegene, we aspire to create a world free from all diseases and future pandemics so that the world may not repeat history such as the COVID-19 pandmic. Now more than ever, this is a necessary endeavor and more importantly, we believe we have the necessary factors to make this vision a reality.

We believe early testing and diagnosis are key pillars towards this vision. Early testing and diagnosis pave the way for early treatment which can lead to healthier lives and, thus, a world free from all diseases.
The best tool available today for early and accurate diagnosis for various diseases is PCR testing and, in this field, Seegene stands out.

Seegene has always been a game changer. Our high multiplex syndromic technologies make it possible for Seegene to be the only company in the world whose panels allow targeting of up to 14 pathogens. Seegene Digitalized Development System (SGDDS), our automated development system, allows more robust accelerated product development processes that others cannot match. And our modular instrument approach allows for agile configuration.

With Seegene's industry-unique solutions being battle tested during the COVID-19 pandemic and successfully proving its effectiveness, Seegene is now prepared to share its technologies and know-how with the world by creating a global consortium with a common purpose to make PCR testing a part of our daily routine and enable a world free from all diseases and future pandemics. This global consortium will be based on our technologies called Seegene OneSystem™.

But we cannot do this alone.

  • Seegene PCR Technologies and Microsoft AI – Opening a New Chapter in Assay Development

This past January, Seegene and Microsoft announced a strategic collaboration between the two companies. With this announcement made in London, Seegene will work with Microsoft to create technology partnerships that will help advance the Seegene OneSystem™ operations.

    - Standardizing IT infrastructure: As we expand our global consortium partner network for our
OneSystem™ business, we will make Microsoft Azure the standard for our IT and cloud infrastructure to
      maximize operational efficiency.

    - Adopting Microsoft’s AI technology: The breakthrough collaboration will be incorporate AI technologies
from Azure, including Azure OpenAI Service, into the Seegene Digitalized Development System(SGDDS),
which automates oligo design, experimental design, and more, to maximize product research and
development efficiency. This will drastically reduce the barriers to product development and advance
the global consortium’s product development capabilities. We believe this opens up a new chapter in
how products are developed in the future.

    - Improving data analysis and uses: We will utilize Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Copilot to effectively
analyze the vast amount of research data we have accumulated over the years to improve research
      efficiency and productivity.
